| Does your young reader need a cure for cold feet? Would a cuddly canine help? StoryTails to the rescue! Research studies have shown that children whose reading scores lag behind their peers suffer from a fear of reading aloud in the classroom. The StoryTails program pairs a registered dog and handler team with a child to provide one to one reading practice in a safe nurturing environment. StoryTails has been an overwhelming success! As a result, school principals from all over San Antonio have requested Storytails teams in their schools. There's nothing like puppy dog eyes and a wagging tail to turn FEAR into reading FUN! | ||

StoryTails is a Literacy Program and benefits children in three
different school districts in Teams are also invited to different libraries in San Antonio to read to children during story hour. |
