Sam Shelton and Quaker
This being a holiday I found a number of families visiting patients. This resulted in longer visits when we were invited in. In one instance a family group of 8 with three children were in the room. The children were delighted with Quaker and she with them. They especially liked her shaking hands with them, even though after the third handshake she laid down to be petted.

During our visit a member of the staff with apparent dog issues was brought over to be introduced to Quaker. Quaker sat and allowed the staff member to nervously approach and pet her. Quaker then offered to shake hands. After a bit the staff member was laughing and apparently delighted to see how friendly and obedient Quaker was.
