This was our first visit to this facility's Alzheimer's Unit. Everyone loved Jazz and she readily took to the residents. We visited with 18-20 residents and the rest were staff who wanted to meet her and watch the residents' responses. One lady, who the AD said was new and didn't participate much in other activities, fell in love with Jazz. Talk about "restraining hugs" - whenever Jazz got near, she hugged her vigorously and wanted to keep her (not a chance)!
